The Family

seriously it's really freaking cold here. like, -20 during the day. eghhhh. needless to say, i've exhausted TV shows and movies to the extent that decided to bundle up and get groceries... and by that i mean booze, hot chocolate, and the makings for brownies- only to get laughed at by a santa looking man on the street. My friends and i call each other about our boredome, but can't brave the weather to hang out because it'd be a chilly chilly trip and driving my car would mean never being able to find a parking spot again... hell if i can even dig my car out of the snow. SO in my boredom i am thankful that there have been many posts as of late. also, i am trying to apply for jobs, and teachers are looking for me. OH- i totally didn't apply to grad school and i am really happy about that. Artists "technically" aren't supposed to right away anyways... so i am told. I began to realize that if in 6 months i'd have to endure another 2 yr stretch on killing myself at the studios that i may in fact die. Soooo, jobs and residencies are what i am looking at. Once i find some art gig i'll probably be starbucksing it up for health insurance like a chump- but with $1,000 rent it's not like one job will cover me per month. Yes i still love living in Chicago. OO oo and i met this cute boy who goes to Iowa State for physical therapy annnnnnnnnd he's a fucking sailor. That's right... poopdeck jokes and terrible inuendos galore. At the very least, he's fun to talk to. Dating Art last semester was such a bore. Mmmm also i love and miss you guys. AND congrats to me for having a post without a crazy youtubeism... or maybe it's just cause i'm so lame that i don't have any funy youtubes to show... either way... LOVES!
