They're making another Street Fighter movie (link to preview). This is... unsettling. I'm not sure if Hollywood remembers, or if they're just hoping the public doesn't remember, but Jean-Claude Van Damme already tried this once before. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for more video games being made into movies. I think there is a lot of potential in the right hands (unfortunately there has not been that one 'hit' movie based on a video game yet), but Street Fighter is not exactly... brimming with a story or plot.
Sorry for the rant - this just bothers me.

I'm still holding out hope for Gore Verbinski's BioShock though...

Same here, I think it, more than any other, has the potential to be an amazing movie. However, it is only potential... we'll see if they can craft something up that will translate.

Halo... BWAH HAHAHA... unfortunately i knew about that a while ago.
Mortal Kombat/Tekken will be terrible... but i want to be in it. haha more specifically i want to be "Unknown" half naked and part wolf and lots of scary.

Pac Man? haha i hope it's guys in foam suits running through mazes.
