In general, my adulthood (Beth excluded) tends towards the lonely side of things.
Honestly, if I didn't have the few of you guys I still get to see I'd be in a bad place. I have no real friends at work, and heck, who else do I see? So...
I don't know. I didn't grow up magically, I just... I don't know. I'm here.
Paying rent and bills is one thing. Growing up another thing entirely. We knew this, though, It wasn't some surprise. But it is.
I miss college life. I miss knowing that no matter how I feel there would be someone on a couch somewhere watching adult swim willing to just hang out. I miss having close friends that I can call up on a whim and go out to ... hell... taco bell or something.
I miss walking over to Katie and Karyn's apartment to sit on a couch while *someone* played monster rancher. I don't know. Adult life (in the sense that I've graduated) kind of gets depressing.

It kind of makes you think about in Acts where it says they met and broke bread on a daily basis. I think we're designed to have a good group of close friends that we see on a regular basis with ease.
