I've been making these little objects on the wheel and altering them. They are fired and have a thin coat of wax on them. I like their ambiguity and feeling of a dissonant tension they can create. I am mostly interested in how they create relationships with each other, viewers, and in my own environment. My teacher and i were discussing how to integrate the photos i took with the objects in my environment and their place in a gallery space. I am currently in the process of making a crap ton of the objects with intentions to install them on the walls, possibly to fabric or 3-d constructions. They read as landscapes, social interactions, and make references to the body that at times are sexual but in a way that i feel is appropriate. Hate me? yes, yes you do... because i am awesome. haha.
I love you all very much!!
PS it's ok if you don't dig (sad face)
